File multiple batches of invoices and control your expenses
Import your invoices into IRISmart Invoice and process them at the same time: up to 8 metadata elements will be recognised automatically (the supplier, date, total amount excluding taxes, total amount including taxes, VAT number, VAT amount, VAT rate*). If a field is not recognised, the simplified interface will notify you and, with help from on-the-fly OCR, allow you to enter the missing or incorrect information. Your invoices are then renamed in a structured manner, then semi-automatically sorted into folders according to your needs. The sorting can be done per date or supplier name. This sorting “rule” will be automatically applied for each invoice processed under the same scenario. Key information (metadata) from your invoices is also automatically listed in a central Excel file, for optimal monitoring of all of your expenses.
Name and file up to 200 invoices per day
IRISmart Invoice works per batch, which allows you to quickly name and file a batch while another batch is processing in the background. Consequently, there is no problem processing a very large number of invoices per day if necessary. Therefore, this is an ideal tool whether or not you need to handle a very large number of invoices (paper or electronic) on a daily basis.

Due to its TWAIN compatibility, you can use IRISmart File with most existing scanners on the market. Whether you are using high-capacity scanners (such as the IRIScan Pro 5 Invoice, which includes full integration with IRISmart Invoice), flatbed scanners or MFPs (all-in-one devices); this solution adapts to any type of device to better meet your needs and the reality of your workplace.
An intelligent archiving tool, based on the predefined folder tree structure
With automatic generation of tree structures for pre-defined folders, your invoices are truly “hand-sorted” by date or by supplier. IRISmart Invoice transforms stacks of invoices into structured information that is easy to access, retrieve (using a simple keyword search, for example) and view using any PDF reader. This saves time and money, but also makes it easier to share incoming invoices and their metadata with your financial or fiduciary manager.
File your documents directly on your preferred Cloud platform
Take advantage of numerous Cloud and DMS export options: MS SharePoint®, BOX, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive or even OneDrive. Quickly export full batches of invoices to the platform of your choice. You can then access your invoices wherever you want, since your files are in a safe, secure environment. Your financial manager could use this to approve payments, for example, or your fiduciary manager could encode invoices at any time with all of the information they need to do their work.
Crop, fill, adjust, etc. For perfect rendering
Improve the rendering of all of your files and file them at the same time. If the scanned invoice is not perfectly straight, it will be realigned automatically by IRISmart Invoice. Crop unneeded borders and change the colours of your documents. There are many ways to make your invoices perfectly clean and legible. In addition, IRISmart Invoice enables you to attach free-form comments, as needed.
